Day Camp 12-16

SPECIALIZED CAMP – SURF & SUP

The surf and SUP day camp lasts 5 mornings, Monday to Friday, and is designed for children aged 12 to 16. Focused on learning river surfing and paddleboarding, it offers your child the chance to discover those sports and progress towards independence. The group will spend 5 mornings on the river, including 3 river surfing sessions and 2 SUP sessions, including a descent on the river.

OUR TEAM

Our specialist instructors are trained by certified Paddle Canada trainers and by KSF, which is accredited by Aventure Écotourisme Québec. What’s more, they all have up-to-date First Aid and CPR training.

Each day, the group will have a 3-hour training session with a specialist. The ratio is one instructor for 8 young people, with an assistant instructor for surf lessons and SUP descents.

WHERE DO THE ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE?

Most of our activities take place in the calm waters of LaSalle, where KSF’s headquarters are located. This will be our playground for the aquatic aspect of the activities. Surfing lessons will take place at La Vague à Guy, and SUP descents will be shuttled from Lachine to LaSalle.

What’s more, thanks to a collaboration between KSF and Rafting Montréal, we’ll be able to enjoy the St. Lawrence aboard a raft to round off an intense week of nautical activities during the regular camp.
