Whitewater kayaking

INITIATION 1: FLAT WATER

This course is an introduction to whitewater kayaking. You’ll learn the name of the equipment and the following basic techniques: desalination or the art of getting out of your kayak upside down, circular and pull propulsions, supports, team recovery and an introduction to rolling. An essential for a first kayaking experience or even for those who want to brush up on some basics. Can be taken alone or with Initiation 2. We strongly suggest that you take Initiations 1 and 2 on the same day, so that you can fully assimilate the basic techniques and put them into practice.

*Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult taking part in the activity.
