This intermediate course is an introduction to whitewater paddleboarding techniques and navigation in the upstream current of the Lachine Rapids. You’ll learn to read the current, execute current entries and exits, and use advanced techniques adapted to whitewater, such as catching and leaning. This course is designed for intermediate paddlers who already have a good base in calm water and wish to start out in whitewater.
